While this course enhances medical proficiency for close protection roles, participants aiming to work in the UK must obtain a Security Industry Authority (SIA) license for close protection operations. This requires completing a recognized qualification and passing the associated assessments.

Steps to Obtain SIA License:

  1. Complete Training: Successfully finish the Close Protection Course.
  2. First Aid Certification: Ensure you hold an up-to-date Emergency First Aid at Work qualification or equivalent.
  3. Apply for License: Submit your application to the SIA, including necessary documentation and fees.

For detailed information, visit the official SIA guidance page.

Licensing requirements for medical roles within close protection vary globally. Participants are encouraged to consult their national or regional regulatory bodies to understand specific requirements. Our administrative team is available to provide guidance and support in navigating these processes.

Upon successful completion of the course, graduates gain access to ARES’s robust post-course support services:

  • Career Guidance: Assistance with resume building and interview preparation.
  • Job Placement Assistance: Connections with our network of security firms and agencies.
  • Alumni Network: Access to a global community of professionals for advice and opportunities.
